The Aken works - our headquarters Our blasting and coating works in Aken is equipped with a blasting shop of the very latest design, over 18m in length, 6m wide and 5m high. We have a compressed air station with oil separators, refrigeration driers and a generously dimensioned coating shop with an area of approx. 1800m². The company occupies a 38,000m² site with generous storage areas, transport and handling facilities. Heavy duty lift trucks and two workshop cranes provide the capacity to move large and heavy loads, and help to keep loading and unloading times as short as possible. Our peak capacity for blasting and priming of medium-sized structures is 1500m² per day. For complete coating operations with two or more coats, the capacity is dependent on the drying times of the relevant coating materials. In addition, we utilise the capacity of other locations: Strassfurt, Dessau, Rosslau and Magdeburg. The total capacity is 500,000m²/pa. Maximum quality on the agreed delivery date is ensured by our quality assurance system to DIN/ISO EN 9001:2000 and by our work planning for prompt fulfilment of orders.
